Shelty's being constant with he lineup. Pham has no business being this team because he absolutely sucks. Have Cruz throw him up in the air and knock him out of park. Play Gorski for heaven's sake.

Most teams would find this kind of managing bizarre. But with the Pirates, it's standard procedure.

Gorski not playing is yet more proof that trying to win isn’t the priority. They continue to put Pham on the field, who can’t do it anymore, and in no way is part of the future, just to justify paying him his salary. None of it’s right, which just makes it the Pirates being the Pirates.

This is ridiculous. didn't Shelty get the memo, about being stubborn to a fault regarding lineups and players? Is this his way of saying he still wants Suwinski? Doesn't he remember how horrendously bad the lineup is with a guy that can't hit his weight?

Someone made a comment elsewhere about they have to pay Pham whether he's playing or not. So don't play him, you're not getting "value" because you're using him. He's killing the offense!!!

That being said, I hope he has a career, MLB record setting night to the good, like most RBI by a guy hitting .175, 3 HR's, something like that and

This must be killing Shelton, all these lead off HR's. The urge to sit him or put him somewhere else in the order has to be making him sick
