he was as bad as Pham and Suwinski last year (175 average, OPS less than 550). If they are going to make a change get somebody decent rather than a somebody you hope can get back up off the scrap heap.

You are probably correct. This team is about on life support, and it needs some type of shock or jolt.After today,off to West Coast which has never been kind to the Pirates even in the best of seasons.

Rosario was picked up by the Braves today, optioning Jarred Kelenic to make room. Kelenic has been an interesting story. He came to the big leagues as a big time prospect but he can’t seem to break through. No telling how long the Braves, his second team already, will give him to begin to be good enough to become a contributor.
