LHP Hunter Barco has been promoted to AAA. At Altoona, he pitched 25.2 innings with 11 hits, 7 walks, 34 Ks and an ERA of 0.00.
Very nice. Do we have a hitter's version of him?

Bet Online offers AAA lines, so I will try and make a few bucks when Bubba and Barco pitch. Both should be allowed to get innings now. Indy 6-1 when BC pitches so missed out on those early 4inn starts.

At Altoona the Bucs have a right handed pitcher by the name of Wilbur Dotel. He is having some success, and he may be a player to follow this season. He is not ranked in the Pirates top 30 prospects, so he is kind of the under the radar type of player.

Someone in the Pirates FO Group can scout and locate pitchers, and if the Bucs get a new GM I hope that person remains in the organization. There seems like a lot of good arms throughout the minors.

It would be nice if someone could scout and locate hitters

Barco to AAA could be a sign they're about to move Chandler to the MLB level.

Griffin is 4 for 4 tonight with a home run and 2 rbi. It is early in his career, but he appears to be someone to keep an eye on.

I know he is not a prospect, but possibly the Pirates should consider bringing up Nick Solak from Indy. He is hitting.380 which is very respectable, but they would have to add him to the 40 man roster. I am sure he won’t hit .300 for the Pirates, but even if he hit .250 that would be better than some of the current Pirates.
