Joe Block seems to be focused on the game tonight instead of his usual long discourses about whatever. He's a fine announcer when he stays focused.

Nicolas on to pitch. Throws 2 pitches out of the strike zone but 2nd one is hit for a single. Nicolas usually has poor control including his time at Indy this year.

Wow, more bad defense. Potential inning-ending DP grounder to IKF but Valdez can't catch the ball at 2B. One would think that catching the ball would be a key skill necessary for baseball players. Run scores. 5-2.

Oh well. Reds go for sweep tomorrow. The good news is that Shelton’s Sunday lineup can’t be any worse than any other lineup he could use.
