Tommy Pham needs to be on this thread soon.

Tommy Pham needs to be on this thread soon. He's been on this team too long if you catch my drift.

Re: The Departed
He didn’t hit much in ST, and now it has carried over into April. I was not excited about his signing, and other than a couple timely hits, and a solid throw he has been a bust.
Re: The Departed
to be honest even if he matched his offensive output from last year he would not be an offensive force. At best he should have been brought in as a 4th outfielder and perhaps only as a non roster player with an invite to spring training. The Pirates don't spend much on payroll but they piddle away too much of it on players that don't produce.fjk090852-7 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 11:54 pmHe didn’t hit much in ST, and now it has carried over into April. Re: The Departed
I agree, he should be a reserve at best. But his starting all of these games reveals a bigger problem: there’s no one throughout the system who’s better. That’s inexcusable.Ecbucs wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 12:55 amto be honest even if he matched his offensive output from last year he would not be an offensive force. Re: The Departed
Charlie Morton has been atrocious for the Orioles. His first 4 starts were all bad and he entered today 0-4 with an 8.84 ERA with 24 hits including 4 HRs and 11 walks in 18.1 innings. Today he lasted 2.1 innings against the Reds, giving up 7 hits including a HR, 4 walks and 7 runs. His ERA is now 10.89. Orioles are paying him 15 million for 1 year. But it's getting to the point where they can't afford to use him.
Can anyone here play this game?
