Well, it's been an exciting last few days. Unfortunately this probably also means that the rest of the year we'll actually have to pay attention to the major league team as there probably won't be any more exciting news to come for a while.

I think we do turn our attention to a few more in LA. Maybe someone as big as Sanchez, but we do have 2 affiliates down there in need of players.
I'm really pleased with these last few days, and merely hope we can get them on the right track to protecting their arms.

Per Dejan, the Pirates sign Columbian SS Dilson Herrera for $222,000K.
Dejan told me about this guy a good 2+ months ago sort of,he said they are going to sign a Colombian SS for a good amount and in the Int'l market 222k is considered a good amount....the Pirates just werent giving up a name to him. Possibly not leaking the name kept the price of him down especially since some of these guys are from remote areas.No idea if he is but I know a couple guys they got last year would be considered hidden gems |
