Well Pudge was responsible for the out, Nyjer was responsible for a dirty, dirty play. They held him out the next day because they were certain he would get plunked.
I liked Morgan but he has been an idiot the past 6 weeks. Milledge is sloppy, but I think he is the better player. I would also take Hanrahan over Burnett. That being said, if we could have traded Morgan for Hanrahan and kept Burnett I would have been pretty happy.
Even more proof of Nyjer being an all around butt.

That article is all well and good, but I need Thomas Boswell's opinion on this matter.

I really dislike Nyjer Morgan.
Jim Riggelman doesn't seem to real crazy about him, either.

Looks like you take Morgan out of hockey but you can't take the hockey out of Morgan.

Morgan's acting like a guy who is having a terrible season and is frustrated. As someone else said, Riggleman doesn't sound like a fan. He could be gone at the end of the season.

At this point, I'm pretty sure Nyjer Morgan is in need of some help. He just is really out of control right now. He just attacked Volstad.

He got thrown at before for what he did yesterday so they should've been even but in an 11 run game he decided to steal 2 bases so they threw at him again and thats when he charged Volstad. Look at the clothesline Gaby Sanchez put on him, WWE style took his head off. When he went off the field he was raising his hands and cursing at the crowd like he just won the fight. He has actually lost his mind, like I wouldnt be surprised to hear he misses a lot of time going to some counseling...its like hes having an Elijah Dukes tribute season protesting his spring release, let me waste talent, play out of control, make mental mistakes then go crazy. This ones for you Elijah!

Just shaking my head. I didn't like Morgan when he was a Pirate because I thought he was a lousy player but his antics this season keep getting more and more ridiculous. I think his magic two months or so with the Nats last year must have gone to his head or something.

I think it his magical 2 months went to everyone else's head because they were calling him a cornerstone and the fans had unrealistic high hopes for him. When he started playing like Nyjer Morgan he was disappointing everyone and people were wondering what was wrong with him and when he would break out of his slump.

That was crazy. If Gaby Sanchez would have made a little more solid contact Nyjer might have broken his neck. Sanchez ended up getting hit by a pitch later too. Has a player ever just completely lost it like Nyjer has over the last week or so?

It's just the whole sequence is insane. He destroys a catcher yesterday when he didn't need to. Then he gets beaned today understandably, but then steals 2nd and slides into Desmond hard, then later in the same sequence Donnie Murphy dislocates his wrist at least partially because of Nyjer stealing 3rd.
THEN, he gets into a brawl later, and his shirt is coming off and he's cussing at the crowd AGAIN as he gets pulled into the clubhouse.
All this coming off the heels of beaning a fan and being caught on tape calling fans mean words.
Maybe Dibble isn't the only guy who is let go today. He's going to have two suspensions now as well since he already had the pending one.

That was the 2nd catcher he ran over for no reason! The first one was worse
