thegreatchris mentioned this in the Capps/Gorz thread and it seemed like some people were interested (I'm one of them).

I'll post the Baseball Reference links for each player traded by NH in the last 2 years.  We can update the links, directly place stats....whatever....on a regular basis.

Capps

Morgan

Burnett

Grabow

Laroche

McLouth

Nady

I didn't think there was a hue and cry for Paulino, Hinske, Bautista.

Meanwhile, Nyjer has walked twice as many times as he's struck out; has a 100% steal percentage; and leads the league in triples.  He's a phenom.

OK, so he has 2 walks and 1 K; 2 for 2 in steals; and 2 triples.  And his other numbers ain't so hot.

But it's early.

Most of them seem to be struggling.

Jesse Chavez is looking pretty good for the Braves, though.  Didn't he have another HORRIBLE spring, too?  He has struck out 6 over 4.1 innings with a 2.08 ERA and .92 WHIP.

I'd rather have Iwamura, but I wouldn't have minded giving up somebody not named Jesse Chavez in that trade.  If that was possible.

Chavez was actually worse this spring than last.  There were some reports that said he was in danger of not making the team, but he again managed to head north with the team, and seems to be fine at least early on.

The three times he has appeared it has been the epitome of low-leverage situations as well. I think they are either taking it slow with him after his bad spring, or they just don't consider him one of the important arms in the pen, which he may have ended up being if he was still in Pitt.

Is it true that Boston traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees for Jose Hernandez, Matt Bruback and Bobby Hill?

LaRoche actually had a pretty good April last year too.  His OPS was actually higher last year than this year.  He just decided to have April in July last year.
