Is our exalted manager showing off Moss, Pearce, Vasquez in hopes that one or two of them will make a good show and will be able to be dealt even for a bushel of sunflower seeds?

That deal might be more likely if we kept those guys out of public view...

Im surprised Young(and Vazquez) arent in the lineup, especially with the news that the Orioles might be looking at acquiring one of them

Well being old enough to have seen Honus play in Forbes Field I just realized that the game is on FSN in Pittsburgh. Just wanted you local folks to know.

Honestly I wish there were more interesting arms pitching beyond Cutch and Donnelly. I haven't really seen Cutch on tv much with most of his games coming when FSN abandoned the Pirates last September.

MLB is doing something annoying right now, they have to get their full 1 hour update show in so not only did they cut away from the Dodgers/DBacks game before it ended, they are keeping the show going into the beginning of the Bucs/Snorioles broadcast

Duke looked really good for two batters, then became one of the worst pitchers I've ever seen.

Yeah, he was just throwing BP out there for a while. Everything was getting tattooed.

Duke just put his 2009 season into one inning, good at the start, not so much at the end.

I have to get some schoolwork done, precluding the detailed posting that I did yesterday, but Pedro just ripped a 3-1 pitch to right center for an RBI double, scoring Moss (who had walked). Ball was hammered. 3-1, O's.
The broadcasters noted that nobody is throwing in the bullpen, so Duke will come out for a third inning.

MLB.TV. Vazquez, following a single to left by Pearce, showed a smooth stroke to line another single to left, Pedro scoring to make it 3-2. Unfortunately, Pearce got gunned down going to third. Good to see RV with the strong showing against the Orioles; maybe it will increase their trade interest.

I was wondering why gnarburger was talking about the first inning was over before it actually was on my TV.
